Lab Assistant (m/w/d)

We are looking for a Lab Assistant to support our team in the film lab. You will help with development, scanning and quality control. We are also currently building an analog darkroom for fine art prints and darkroom work.

Your tasks:

Film development (B&W and C-41)
Scanning and basic retouching
Customer service at the counter
Keeping the lab tidy and organised

Your profile:

Interest in analog photography
Reliable and careful way of working
Confident German; English and Turkish an advantage
Previous experience in a lab is a plus, but not required

Sales & Shop (m/w/d)

We are looking for a part-time colleague for our shop and counter.

Your tasks:

Advice and sales (films, cameras, accessories, passport photos, application photos)
Cash register and inventory
Receiving and handing out development orders
Supporting the lab when needed

You enjoy dealing with people and have a passion for analog photography
Reliable, organised and customer-oriented
Confident German; English and Turkish an advantage

Internship in the Shop

What you'll learn:

Product knowledge (films, cameras, accessories)

Order processing and handover of development orders
Taking passport and application photos
Day-to-day shop and lab organisation

Internship in the Lab

Date: 2025-02-01 · Location: Berlin-Kreuzberg

We offer internships in our film lab for anyone who wants to get to know analog development and scanning.

What you'll learn:

Film development on professional machines: C-41 (color negative) with FujiFilm FP363SC, B&W with Colenta processor
Scanning with Fuji Frontier SP3000 and Noritsu HS-1800
C-prints and inkjet prints
Handling different film formats (35mm, medium format, large format)
How a small lab works

You'll also be part of planning the build-out of a complete darkroom — including hand development and enlarging.

Duration: By arrangement — a few weeks, a few months, whatever works. Part-time or full-time.

Internship as Web Developer

Date: 2025-02-01 · Location: Remote / Berlin

We are a small analog photography lab and shop in the heart of Kreuzberg. Besides our lab and store, we run our own website and online shop — and we're looking for a web developer intern who wants to help us build and improve it.

What we do:

We develop and maintain our website (Next.js, React) and the shop (Medusa, e-commerce).
We work on the frontend (UI, checkout, product pages), APIs, and internal tools.
We care about performance, accessibility and a good experience for our customers.

Who we're looking for:

You're learning or already comfortable with JavaScript/TypeScript and React (or similar).
You're curious about Next.js, modern frontend tooling and/or e-commerce.
You like to work in a small team, ask questions and learn by doing.
You don't need to be an expert — motivation and willingness to learn matter more.

What you'll do:

Support us with frontend tasks (components, pages, styling).
Optionally: small backend/API or tooling tasks, depending on your interests.
You'll work with our codebase, get feedback and see your work go live.

Duration: By arrangement — a few weeks, a few months, whatever works. Part-time or full-time, on-site, hybrid or remote.
